Share access through each Google tool’s user permissions. Never send us your password or login details.
This guide shows you how to invite our team to the tools supporting your campaign. Use [email protected] for all three invitations, as shown in the video.
Before you start
Sign in with the Google account that manages your website’s properties. You need Search Console ownership, Analytics account Administrator access, and Tag Manager account Administrator access.
Check that you have selected the correct website before sending each invitation. If another person manages your account, ask them to follow these steps.
1. Share Google Search Console access
- Open Google Search Console and select your website’s property from the top-left selector.
- Open Settings, then Users and permissions.
- Click Add user and enter [email protected].
- Select Full permission and click Add.
Full access lets us review your search data and take actions within the property. It suits the campaign access shown here. Only grant Owner access if we specifically request it for ownership or user-management tasks.
You keep ownership of your property. Google explains the differences in its Search Console permissions guide.
2. Share Google Analytics access
- Open Google Analytics and select the correct account and GA4 property.
- Click Admin, then Account access management under Account.
- Click the + button, choose Add users, and enter [email protected].
- Select Administrator, leave email notifications enabled, and click Add.
The video uses account-level Administrator access so we can manage settings and users during your campaign. Account permissions apply to every property within that account.
If your account contains unrelated websites, ask us before sharing account-wide access. We can agree access to the relevant property instead.
Administrator access supports configuration and user management. You do not need Administrator access just to view historical data; Viewer access supports viewing reports and data.
See Google’s Analytics roles and access guide for the available permissions.
3. Share Google Tag Manager access
Follow this step if your website uses Google Tag Manager.
- Open Google Tag Manager, select your website’s account, and click Admin.
- Under Account, open User Management, click +, and choose Add users.
- Enter [email protected] and select Administrator under Account permissions.
- Under Container permissions, select your website’s container and enable Publish. Click Invite.
Check both permission levels before sending the invitation. Account Administrator access manages users and containers; container Publish access lets us publish tracking changes.
If your account contains other websites’ containers, ask us to confirm the scope first. Keep an active Administrator account within your own team.
Google’s Tag Manager permissions guide explains account and container access.
Tell us when you have finished
Check the user list in each tool for [email protected] and the permissions above. For Tag Manager, check the invitation status too.
Let us know when you have sent the invitations. We will confirm access and check that we can see the correct properties.
If you cannot find a setting, contact our team with the tool name and website address. Do not include passwords or login details.
