How do you handle sensitive customer data?

What happens if you find malware on my site?
For Maintenance and Partner plan clients, malware removal and recovery are included at no extra cost. For Hosting-only clients, we will still apply immediate patches to protect the server, though a fee may apply for extensive manual clean-up of severe issues.
Do you offer an annual discount for hosting & support plans?
Yes. If you choose to pay for your hosting annually, you get one month for free.
How does billing work for hosting and support plans?
We send an invoice each month. If you are based in the UK or EU, we require a Direct Debit setup via GoCardless. We also accept bank transfers. Payment is due on date the invoice is issued.
What is your Uptime Guarantee on hosting?
We guarantee 99.9% uptime. If we do not meet this, we will refund the downtime to your account in accordance with our Service Level Agreement.
What are the traffic and storage limits?
Our standard plan is optimised for 100,000 page views per month, and we offer a fair-use storage limit of 20GB. If you expect more traffic, we can upgrade your server on demand. We will notify you if you are approaching your traffic limits so you can choose to upgrade.
Can I access my control panel or cPanel?
We do not use cPanel or similar public hosting panels. We fully manage the server environment for you to ensure it remains secure. If you or your developer needs SSH access for a specific task, we can provide this on a one-off basis and disable it once the work is done.
Where is my data stored?
You can choose your preferred data centre location when you sign up. We offer server locations in the UK, the EU, and the US. We also have other locations worldwide. If you do not specify a preference, we will select the best location for your business. For example, UK-based businesses are placed on UK servers. Our hardware uses high-frequency AMD Ryzen 9 processors, DDR5 RAM, and NVMe 4.0 storage.
Can you take over a site built on another platform?
Usually, yes. If your site runs on an open-source stack, we can audit it, move it to our servers, and take over the maintenance. If it is built on a closed platform such as Squarespace or Wix, hosting cannot be transferred, so we would rebuild it onto a stack you own outright. We will always tell you which route makes the most sense, and provide a custom quote for any rebuild work.
What happens if the provisional audit finds issues?
If our initial check reveals dated systems or critical security gaps, we will let you know immediately. We can provide a fixed quote to repair these issues before the migration. If your site is on a legacy system that is no longer supported, we can also provide a quote to rebuild it on our modern, secure platform.
How secure is your hosting?
Security is our priority. Each site sits in its own completely isolated environment. We use strict firewalls and AI systems to review logs in real-time for any threats. All sites use Cloudflare for DNS management and a Web Application Firewall (WAF), which blocks threats before they even reach the server.
